Rocio del Mar is an urbanisation near Torrevieja located in the popular area of Punta Prima on the Costa Blanca. Conveniently situated close to the beach where there is a lovely marina, stretches of sand and rocky coves, ideal for snorkeling. From Rocio del Mar, heading South there is a scenic coastal path that connects with the seaside resorts of Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig and Campoamor. Along the coastal path why not stop in at one of the sunrise beach bars where they serve an ice cold pint of beer for the unbeatable price of 1,40 €. Heading North along the path will take you to the very popular Nautilus restaurant that boasts lovely views over the sea. After the Nautilus is the start of the Large town of Torrevieja with hundreds of businesses, bargain property for sale, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Torrevieja has much to offer visitors with beaches, promenades, parks, lakes, museums, a large marina and a thrilling aqua park. Located only a short drive from Rocio del Mar you will reach the popular La Zenia Boulevard for over 150 great shops, bars and restaurants.

From Rocio del Mar, running parallel to the beach is the popular Punta Prima strip where the Bennecke head office is located. The strip has a good selection of shops including one specialising in Asian products, ideal for picking up your ingredients for that authentic curry. Punta Prima strip also offers a range of popular restaurants & bars and including Marco Polo’s which in many locals opinion serves the best coffee on the Orihuela Costa. Opposite Rocio del Mar, on the other side of the N332 dual carriageway is the Punta Marina commercial centre which can be reached via a pedestrian bridge. The centre offers a further selection of shops, bars and restaurants including a large McDonald’s with a drive through facility. Dotted around the urbanisation of Rocio del Mar, all within walking distance, are many more bars and restaurants including the very popular El Secreto ( international cuisine ), Manolo’s ( Spanish cuisine ), Puccini Restaurant ( Italian cuisine ) and Geliteria Italiano ( Italian Cuisine ) they also have an ice cream parlour serving fantastic home made treats.
